Advent begins Sunday, Dec. 2.
Why purple, then pink, and sometimes white?

Blessing of the Advent Wreath:
During Advent we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ in glory. Today we pray that God will (bless this wreath,) keep us watchful in prayer, and make us witnesses to Jesus, the Lord of light and love, who has taken on human flesh to bring salvation to all people. We make our prayer through Christ our Lord, Amen.
